There are three main different types of wedding bouquets. The style which is the most suitable to you will depend on which one you feel suits your needs the most. Here, we will take a closer look at the three styles and how you will know which one is the best for you.
The Three Main Types
The first main type of bouquet, the cascade bouquet, does exactly what the name states- as it descends like a lot like a waterfall. With this type of wedding bouquet, there are more flowers located on the top of the bouquet. There are less flowers that descend downwards. It is filled with a lot of greeneries, to make it look as natural as possible. Generally, there is only one type of flower in a cascade bouquet, although it is possible to get more than one type.
The second main type of wedding bouquet is the round bouquet, which obviously is in a round shape. It has a lot less greeneries than the cascade bouquet but it also has a lot more flowers. With a round bouquet, it is very common to get multiple different kinds of flowers. It is just important for the color scheme to be balanced out.
The third type of wedding bouquet is the hand tied bouquet. This type of is becoming more and more popular, although it is still not as popular as the cascade or round bouquets. This casual type is designed by flowers tied together with a ribbon and revealed stems.
Picking the Right Style
Deciding which bouquet style is right for you can be very tricky. It can depend on a number of factors. The main factor that it will depend on is your body in general. For example, if you are looking for the bouquet style which will make you look the slimmest, you would probably opt for the cascade bouquet. If you want to look taller, you should choose a round bouquet.
The type of wedding that you are also having can be a huge factor in determining which wedding bouquet is the best one for you. If you are getting married in a church, you should probably avoid the casual hand tied , and instead choose a cascade or round version. If you are getting married in a garden, having a hand tied bouquet can add a nice touch by making it appear as though you just picked the flowers from the garden.
