Photographer for Destination Weddings

I am curious about how to chose a photographer for a destination wedding. Do I pick on there or are there some that will travel with you to the destination?

If your budget can afford to pay one several destination photographers just ad the cost of travel into their cost to meet you where you are getting married. There are also a lot of places that have photographers that are present at the time of your wedding, and other photographers in the local area of where you are getting married are willing to negotiate via phone until the day you get married.
It really just all depends on what you can afford and which option you want.
