Great Bridal Gift Ideas

Great Bridal Gift Ideas Filed under: Wedding Gifts, Bridal Shower — site admin @ 10:55 pm

More often than not, we find ourselves struggling to choose a perfect gift item even if the bride is an intimate friend or a dear and near relative. Choosing a suitable gift though needs no such struggle. Just give yourself some time to think and you will have so many ideas for the best bridal gift. Gone are the days when bridal shower gifts were meant to help the couple get household items for their new home or to decorate and maintain their home. Times have changed, and so have gift ideas. Today’s bride in most cases has already established her home; she pursues a career and possesses most household items anyway. What she needs is something that will pamper her. She will also like gifts that may help her on the wedding day. Let us think about some gift ideas that may be suitable for the bride.

Sentimental types of gifts are suitable for best friends, sisters, or a bride who with whom one had shared a lot of times and memories. An example of such a sentimental gift is a picture of the bride with her special friend, brother, sister, or parents, engaged in a memorable activity in the past. If you want to pamper her in keeping with the times, you will find it difficult to make a choice from the tons of such gifts flooding the market. You may give the bride her favorite bath soap, lotion, or shower gel. The scent of the perfume you choose must be something she will love to wear on her wedding day. And why not a special coupon for a massage or trip to a day spa?

If the bride belongs to the ‘practical’ type, why not put together an “everything basket” that contains some beautiful pens, clear nail polish, postage stamps, a nail file, a change purse with a few bills and some change, a notepad, a small screwdriver, tape, and any such item that one usually never finds when one needs it the most.

Close friends may choose lingerie as the best bridal gift. It will definitely help gear her up for her honeymoon. And who does not understand that wedding day is not all fun and excitement, but quite hectic and nerve wracking as well. It will be great for the bride if she gets as gifts what she might forget in the excitement before the wedding. Imagine her joy when she receives gifts, such as hair spray, hairpins, clips, lipstick, and even deodorant accompanied by a note that says “Lest you forget!”
