Everything about Christmas is magical. This is a time when everything you do seems delightful and everybody likes to spread joy and forgiveness. This is a time when money becomes surprisingly short when you want to buy gifts for your dear ones and wedding decorations for your home. A wedding would definitely be extraordinary during this festive season. However, it could also be expensive, though it need not be so.

Make your own wedding Christmas wedding favors, have lots of fun and save a bundle as well. Here are some great ideas that anyone could do whether you have any experience or not:

1. Christmas decorations - buy plain ping-pong balls and cover them with glue. Roll them into glitter dust to have instant beautiful Christmas tree globes. You could do the same with balls made of cheap plastic of thermocol. Attach a hook with the help of instant glue and you are ready. Tie a few of these beautiful decorations along with a few tiny pine cones in brightly colored tulle and you have a great Christmas wedding favor ready.

2. Hot chocolate mugs - but plain ceramic or terracotta mugs and using special paint-on colors for glass or ceramics inscribe a few words in your own handwriting on the mugs. You could also draw something special on the mugs for the recipient to think of you every time they use/ see it. Add a tiny packet of hot chocolate mix in the mug and a few traditional almond candies. Your Christmas wedding favor is ready.

3. Cakes and cookies - no Christmas is ever complete without cakes and cookies. You could bake tiny Christmas cakes and various shapes cookies and create a lovely hamper for your guests as a wedding favor.

4. Seedlings - you could buy seed packets of some lovely exotic plants and grow them into seedlings. Transplant these plantable favors into tiny and fancy ceramic flower pots and arrange a few of these into exquisitely decorative baskets. Put a note with instructions (regarding the name of the plant, and how it should be taken care of when it grows larger) inside the basket and cover it with colorful cellophane paper.
