I am planning my wedding my self and I was wondering what I should start with first. I have 598 day until the date so it has left me lots of time but I am not sure where to start.


Hi Kyra, first you need to find a location, is it going to be outside, at a church, or park? Next you need to secure a reception hall, banquet room or country club. Most places require a deposit to hold it for you for that day. Once you have these two things decided upon you would want to pick your colors so you know how you want to decorate, what you want the wedding party wearing, centerpieces linnens and many other things that go along with getting married. Also don't forget about your dress, and the grooms attire. From there everything should fall into place. Also put some tasks on the people you have in your wedding party, they are there to help!
