color and location

hello. i am having trouble figuring out how to make my color choice work with our location. the wedding and recep are at the park. wedding in clearing with panoramic view looks down onto wooded valley, recep in two story stone shelter house with fireplaces and a balcony. colors are turquise and white with silver accents. can this work or should i give up my turq? i hope you have some ideas.


Sounds like you have a beautiful location for your wedding and reception, but I think you are wise in thinking of getting rid of the turqoise. Seeing as you are going to be in an earthy and green filled area, you would want to stick with an earth tone really. Dark reds, or coppery colors always look great in an outdoor setting, also you can use blues and other shades of green. Turqoise would be suitable in a beach setting or themed wedding.
