Destination wedding
Name: Jenni
Question:
Hi, I have a difficult situation.
My fiance and I live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I have lived here for almost 6 years and it is definitely home to me.
We want to have our weding in Mexico, but are thinking about Zihuatanejo for the service as we want an intimate wedding.
The problem is, I am from Northern Ireland, my fiance is from Texas.
Apart from my only sister, no-one has been to visit Mexico from my family.
Am I being unrealistic to think I can pull this off?
What a great time for a family vacation. Mexico is definatley a cost efficient place to have a wedding, as it really isn't going to be too heavy on the pocket books when it comes to accomidations with the All Inclusive resorts there. The only thing thatwill be costly is the airfare from Ireland. I would think though that if you are giving plenty of notice they should be able to make it. I would say though that with the distance between the two families ther isn't much that can be done really. Start checking airfare packages as soon as you can and get some quotes so you know well in advance what the prices are going to be. Best of luck to you Jenni!
