Who plans the honeymoon, the bride and groom or a family member(s)? Is the honeymoon provided as a surprise to the couple, and if so, when is the announcement made?


Traditionaly the Groom not only helps pick it out , he pays for the honeymoon. Of course that willdepend on who has paid for what thus far. It isnt very often a family will surpise a couple with a honeymoon, unless you have specifically asked for that as a wedding gift.
