older weddings?
Name: Jill
Question:
My 83 year old grandmother is engaged and wants to get married this spring. She is very excited and seems to want everything as in a large wedding. But she also gets flustered when it comes to planning it. Family members would like a simpler plan or form to keep her on track with what is reasonable and what we can do. Is there a list that covers the basics and has us helping her to plan this in order that makes sense?
Wow that sounds like so much fun! Well although I understand that although you may want to make it a little simpler, your grama is at the age where not only is she going to be a little stubborn, but she has also deserved at her age to have what she really wants. I think the best thing to do when planning any wedding, for any age is start with the basics. Get the location , location, location! then what kind of ceremony and dress. Get the food and entertainment covered, and the rest of it can be planned with srot of a check mark of approval from her instead of havin to go through every mundane detail which will eventually stress out your bride. Slow and steady and it should be a perfect event! sincerely, Brandi
