Should his only sibling be in wedding?

Name: Sharon
Question:

I am finding it more and more difficult to choose who should be in the wedding. This will be a large wedding, I have 4 great friends that I want to be my bridesmates. My husband to be has only one sibling, a sister. Even though she is married and has children should I enclude her in the wedding?

Hi Sharon, I suppose it depends really on how close his sister is to you and him. The people you are hoping to have in the wedding party are people that you are close to and are important part of your life so chosing to not include one of them may be a hard decision to make. Instead of having her as a bridesmaid why not ask her to be your right hand helper in getting everything ready. If she does give her tasks that make her feel just as important as she would if she were a part of the wedding party. But don't forget to include her in thank you gifts if you are giving them and maybe say a special thanks in your or your future husbands speech.
