Small Ceremony Entrance

Name: Lauren
Question:

I am planning a wedding in 3 weeks. It is going to be very small with only immediate family. The ceremony will take place in a 200 year old single room church. There is an aisle and my concerns are with the entrance. I've been advised to have family members stand but how do I enter? There is only one entrance. Should my father walk me down the aisle? If so the church doesn't have an organ or piano so what music if any should be played?

Thank you!!!

Having people stand for an entire ceremony isn't too bad if it is short. If amount of time standing and space is an issue, you should be able to rent folding charis and arrange them so that an appropriate sized aisle can be made. Bringing a small portable sterio for music would work just as good as any organ or piano. Find the music you wish to have your father walk you down the aisle to and play it from a cd. If the church is as small as you say it won't need to be too loud for everyone to hear it. If you would prefer to have an organ or piano, try renting a good quality keyboard from your local music store, they usually run for about $30 a day. Good luck Lauren it sounds like it will be a great day!
