Those days are no more when encore brides had to settle for the low-grade wedding celebration, with too few special guests. The modern age has been adorned with some different shades – with more glory and joy. Until the very recent time the ideology of second wedding was not as elaborated as is made during this age. At the present days on an average almost above 45% of the weddings has been the encore wedding that involves one or both the partners married before.
There was a time when the second wedding dress used come up with a huge assortment with less glory as compared to the first wedding. Whether it is the first or encore wedding, the salient focus is on the wedding dress and fashion. Today the encore brides also prefer the attires with the aesthetic beauty, with a focus on the elegance and the quality of materials and fabrics.
After all this is not your first time marriage and hence certain things must be somewhat different. In the second marriage the encore bride should sacrifice the blusher veils, as this is traditionally a gesture of being in reticence by the first time brides. It is also an appreciable idea to make certain other curtailments like hats and hair decors. Indulge yourself to some luxury with a proper blend of simplicity. Luxurious gowns have always been a wondrous gesture and a glorious wedding train is also an expressive idea but it must match the formality and the theme of wedding. The second wedding dress does not generally include a gown with the splendid wedding train to enhance the aestheticism of the overall glamour.
The frills and the decorative laces in the wedding gowns are the two ideas that have been in existence since centuries and will never go out of the fashion. There’s nothing wrong with frills and laces in the second wedding dress. Beadworks and use of spangles are also fine but any exaggeration in case of the second wedding dress may look really odd.
Color is again very confusing topic of discussion – especially when it is concerned with the second time wedding. While some prefer white, the other may stand against the idea, since white betokens freshness. Shades of white such as ivory, satin cream or faint biscuit etc. are really royal gestures, with a concept that white is a symbol of love and pureness. If wedding is the celebration of love, what is the harm in opting for white – as a symbol of love?
It all depends on your personality and taste but formalness and simplicity in wedding attire are the essence of beauty, especially of the encore wedding.
