Summer Wedding Flowers Filed under: Wedding Flowers — site admin @ 5:25 pm

One thing is for sure, there are a lot of different types of wedding flowers out there. However, did you know that the color of the flowers you choose are going to effect the theme and feel of your wedding. This goes for the summer flowers to. A lot of people think of only bright yellow and white flowers for summer weddings, but there is so much more to it than that. The first thing that you have to do, before choosing flowers, is choosing the feel you want for your wedding. If you want it more up beat and alive, then you might want yellow, orange, and white flowers. Maybe you would rather have your summer wedding flowers be more relaxing. In that case, you might choose blue, purple and other dark colors like that. There are a ton of flowers that grow in the summer that are perfect for your wedding.

First of all, if you are looking for summer wedding flowers that are going to be up beat, then there are some classic flowers for you to choose from. Things like White Tulips and, of course, Daisies are always a popular choice. However, some flowers like Yellow Gerberas sometimes get left out of the mix. It’s very important to get the different colors into the flower of your wedding. Having all white flowers does not give it an upbeat feel. If you mix the white and the yellow flowers together, you are going to be left with something that is amazing. Also, try adding a little bit of Ivy to your flower baskets to give them just a little bit more kick.

Now, not everyone wants a yellow and white sunny wedding. Some people want a more classy feel and look (as well as relaxing). To do this you are going to want darker colors. Things like Lavender Roses or Blue Delphiniums work very well for this kind of arrangement. You may even want to throw in some Purple Lisianthus. Now, I know it sounds like a lot of purple, but most of these flowers all have a different shade of purple giving it the effect of having many different colors. Some of them are light purple, and some of them are a dark rich purple. The hint of blue just helps to complete the look. This is one flower arrangement that is sure to relax your guests.Try and match the flowers with the theme, as well as summer wedding favors and summer wedding invitations for an added touch.

Of course, you do not have to just stop with a few colors for your summer wedding flowers. In fact, sometimes it’s fun to get as many different colors in there as you can, while still getting them to go together. Having things like Pink Carnations and Champagne Roses are great. However, you have to add in other colors like Purple Lisianthus and Yellow Pompons. These kinds of wedding flower arrangements are very classy, but at the same time, they are a lot of fun. In the end, your guests are going to know that you put a lot of time into the flowers for your wedding.
