Unique Diamond Rings - Colored Stones and Gems Filed under: Wedding Rings — site admin @ 10:20 pm

Diamond rings are one of the most elegant beautiful rings on the planet. Some jewelry lovers collect these types of rings and some women prefer unique diamond rings over the traditional style ring. They want their wedding more modern and different. Regardless, of the reason often they are a must-have. They represent forever, class, wealth, and beauty. Some even believe diamonds have magical power. Diamonds serve as symbol of status. Not everyone can afford beautiful diamonds. The people who can afford these precious stones are envied throughout the world.

There are many unique diamond rings you can purchase with a fascinating history and design. During the 1900’s the princess ring was created consisting of three to five large diamonds in a row on a band. Any ring with a diamond manufactured before the year of 1913 is considered as a unique vintage diamond ring. These rings are very rare and hard to find. They have a historic Victorian era appeal to them. Colored diamonds rings are one of the most unique pieces of jewelry you can purchase. They are colored due to rainbow hues constructed in the crystallization process while forming. Most of these unique diamond rings have yellow, orange, or brown colored diamonds. When blue light is absorbed during the crystallization process during forming other colored diamonds appear. The diamonds consisting of pink, red, and blue diamonds are very unique also. The most colored piece is most certainly the green diamond ring. This forming process does not happen very often.

Another unique type of diamond ring is the multiple gemstone rings. These rings have one to two large diamonds with various other gemstones placed in between for a fascinating design. Gemstones like amethyst, citrine, garnet, pink tourmaline, pearl, ruby, tanzanite, jet black onyx, tourmaline, topaz, jade, howlite, agate, lapis, jasper, aventurine, and river shell in multiple gemstone diamond rings are very unique. You know you have a truly unique ring if it has any of those additional gemstones with it. A diamond ring with a white gold band or any other metal except for gold and platinum is quite unique as well as these are usually not the ‘norm’. Many rings of this type have designs engraved on the band or a different stone arrangement that set them apart from other jewelry pieces.
